'My reflection on the writing class this semester'
This years writing class made a good impression on me. I've never thought that we'll be using so many media in one class. Even though we didn't have so much classes, it still helped me in understanding how to succeed when it comes to writing a good piece of text. For future suggestions, I would like to say that we should've agreed on a more flexible schedule, because of many students fleeing the premices we got too lazy and didn't do enough homework and writing.
What does it mean to be a good teacher
What does it mean to be a good teacher
You know that there are a lot of people who want to be teachers. If you
are planning to become a teacher you have to think a lot before doing this. It
is not so easy to teach in school. A good teacher is a person who has a lot of
good qualities and is passionate for teaching, also, a good teacher has to be
well prepared with his subjects, thus, he has to know a lot of things about
subject, which she or he is going to teach.
Firstly, a real teacher is that person who feels a passion for teaching.
If you want to be a perfect teacher you have to love your job, because no one
wants to hire a person who feels no motivation towards the job he is applying
to. When you adore your job then automatically you will love everything that is
concerned with it and feel a need to strive for keeping on moving forward and
perfecting your skills in teaching. I am sure that good teachers are also those
people who love their pupils and behave with them very well.
Secondly, teachers must have good qualities. They have to be
self-confident, curious and creative. Besides, teachers have to be interested
in their pupil’s opinions on various other topics which do not concern
teaching, as this is important to finding a perfect approach for teaching them.
The communication between a teacher and the children who are being taught is
very important. Moreover, teachers have to keep in touch with their pupils outside
the classes. In doing so, a teacher can see, that the children will start to
feel more easy, and over time will develop their own individual confidence.
Thirdly, it is not a secret that teachers have to be well-prepared for
their subjects. If people want to be teachers they have to know a lot of things
about their subject which they are going to be teaching. Also they have to do
their best in all lessons. Teachers have to explain everything what pupils are
asking.
In conclusion I would like to say that the most important thing before
becoming a teacher is to think a lot before making this decision. If you are a
teacher already, you do not have to forget that teaching requires a lot of
things to be done. A real teacher is that person who has a lot of good
qualities. Also, teacher has to adore his job. All teachers have to be very
intelligent and self-confident. Without these qualities they will not be real
teachers.

Did my expectations which I had at the beginning of my studies at this university come true?
The expectations I had were mainly focused on developing my English language oral skills. But I was pleased when I saw that we're learning more into the structural part of different subjects. Grammar and Phonetics were really a great step forward for me. I learned how the sentences are built and how the pronunciation techniques can be adapted to my language. What is more, because of those things I have found out my weak spots and had gained an understanding where my improvement should be targeted at. The relationship developed with the lecturers was really great, now that we know each other it is much easier to communicate, and the lecturer knows how we're all as individual personalities. Overall, I had a great time learning at the university and didn't doubt for a second, that studies will be boring. Well, except for philosophy and language history studies. For the future,my hopes are that other semester will be as much interesting as all the previous to come.

Movie review
The movie I am going to review is called 'Hesher'. It is an American film built in 2010 and directed by Spencer Susser. This movie takes place in America. It focuses on a young boy whose mother recently died in a car accident. Thus the boy and his father are struggling until the boy, whose name in the movie is TJ, meets up with a strange young man named Hesher. He then moves in with the boy and that is because he was living in an abandoned house and the boy found out so he called the police. After Hesher moves in, TJ's life changes in an instant, and his family doesn't seem to disapprove so much of Hesher. The story gives us small life lessons which we can all in some way or another apply to our lives. It is a touching drama moving which I really recommend to see. It would be really suitable for people who really think that life is getting to them and they are feeling depressed. I really like it and would give this movie about 8/10 points.
Cheating Students
Analyzing introductions.
2. Cheating students
We are keen to focus on the cheating students as the negative ones. But lots of people seem to misunderstand their cleverness because cheating is not easy and one must be well prepared in order to not get caught whilst doing so. Cheating is mainly for students who are lazier and want to get into any university effortlessly.
What goes for myself. I have also cheated lots of times. Every of those times were at history classes. It's due to difficult study programs. Because there are too many dates to remember when , what and where did it happen. So it was much easier to scribble those dates on a small sheet of paper and put in in between your sleeves. There are many varieties of cheating i.e. mobile phones, small sheets of paper, writing on a soda bottle etc. So one can easily pick out one most suitable for him.
Nevertheless, students like myself often find confused in situations when we are asked orally to present a date or do a math formula. Even though we got good grades at the test, we show little skill or knowledge of the subject. So it proves that cheating isn't the solution to learning problems. It is better to take some time and learn everything by heart and have some good nights sleep before the test. Because that for most students is the main reason for failing tests.
In conclusion, I should say that cheating is a last resort. Students willing to cheat must learn to accept the consequences of getting caught and the punishment that might go after that. Everyone ought to be more focused on learning the main point and not every sentence of fact that is going to be in the test.

Book recommendation
Hey John, I remembered last week you asked me if I'd read anything good recently. Well, just a few days ago I finished reading the book that I bought in the book fair. It was amongst the top selling ones so I had no doubt that it'll be fun to read. The name of it was 'The amulet of Samarcand' written by Jonathan Stroud. It has every feature of an interesting book. For instance , the characters, the story etc.
Firstly I'd like to speak a little about the characters. They were all vivid and presented in such detail that one can easily imagine what they would actually look in real life. There were no left out characters, each one of them had a role to play towards the end of the book which, for a fact, amazed me out of bounds.
Secondly, the story itself was a bit dull at the beginning but as the action took course everything suddenly changed and the book just simply pulled me in as I was reading. The events in it add up creating an astonishing ending which in a lot of books is usually dull. But on this particular occasion it was splendid. There were actually moments that moved me, I can't tell which, but I believe you shall find out everything yourself once you've read it.
To sum everything up, I'd say go and buy this book before the book stores run out of them. It's a great story to read, doesn't matter if you are young or old. It takes you back to some time in your childhood at some moments. And don't forget to give your readers card at the book store , you will get a 15 % discount on it.

Immigration/Emigration
Introduction
The purpose of this report is to present the reader with the advantages and disadvantages of countries which face Immigration and Emigration problems. I shall present the points of interest later on in the next paragraph. All the information which will be given is described based on my personal opinion.
Advantages
Overall, I could say that every person can find his own beliefs and reactions towards this topic. Still we mustn't forget to stay humane and accept every single culture or race as our own. And if there is a problem with an overflow of immigrants higher authorities should deal with them as expected.
The purpose of this report is to present the reader with the advantages and disadvantages of countries which face Immigration and Emigration problems. I shall present the points of interest later on in the next paragraph. All the information which will be given is described based on my personal opinion.
Advantages
- Firstly, I would like to state that it's crucial for one's country to be open minded and thus letting its citizens roam freely wherever they believe it is necessary for them. That is a reason for people to enrich their cultural education
- It is known for a lot of people that some countries have less of a great economical system and its people wish to move somewhere where financial opportunities would be more satisfying to them.
- Communicating between two countries and establishing great connections with foreign countries is a great way to expand tourism. If there is a constant flow of immigrants countries welfare might increase significantly.
- Even though traveling is good. A cultural collision is a bad thing. While some say it's good , others believe that a country should be strictly mono-cultural (i.e. North Korea).
- Some social groups of people say that they are against racial mixture. That said , it might be a problem for people of different race, than the majority of the people in the country, to leave their country.
- The biggest disadvantage of all would be when the immigration level is too high. For example, in Canada there are lots of French people, thus they begin to demand more privileges, not taking into consideration the fact, that they are the one who arrived at the country.
Overall, I could say that every person can find his own beliefs and reactions towards this topic. Still we mustn't forget to stay humane and accept every single culture or race as our own. And if there is a problem with an overflow of immigrants higher authorities should deal with them as expected.
